Okay, so I've decided to do a little design work in-between pages.

These are actually TWO logos for tracks at Dragon*Con. See, the Space and Science tracks used to just be one big track until last year, when they finally split into two. They still have a very tight-knit relationship, including the Mad Scientist's Ball which they hold as a joint event (and was HIGHLY popular last year -- everyone loves to see the Singing Tesla Coils!)

Anyway, they wanted a pair of logos that looked great on their own, and better together. I thought I was only going to do a black and white version...

... and then I decided to color it. But it's designed for Black and White, which is why I went the extra mile on the lineart here.

Space Side: A Cosmic Phoenix Constellation. The background space is filled with starts and small galaxies, as is its eye.

Science Side: A Drunken Bionic Armadillo. The background is in caution stripes, he's holding a bottle that is most definitely not Jack Daniels, and he has a "This End Up" sticker on 'im.

... The Track Head requested it.

Each logo is designed to work independently as well as together. I just hope it goes over well.
